Satire?

Huh. I didn't know that racism was now considered satire. This certainly doesn't help the Republican party's image.

Negro - a member of a dark-skinned group of peoples originally native to Africa south of the Sahara.

Taking the mere usage of the word as it means by definition offensively is kind of like the first guy that took the word "gentleman" to mean "a nice man."

Also, the use was of the word in question was not satire itself. The satire of the song was pointing out the media and pundit chatter about race and what it means to be "an authentic black american."

Besides, you don't get to run a campaign on race and then cry racism when someone makes fun of you for it. I'm sure Lorne Michaels would have something to say about that.
